The Beach House - An incredible place to shop

The owner of the beach house and founder of The Beach House Boutique, Beach House Gift Boutique, and Beach House Salon, Janet Kysia Nadeau, along with her husband, Deziel Nadeau, have renovated and returned the building to its original coastal charm. Now it’s a local gem where you can shop for women's accessories, women's apparel, home goods, and gifts inspired by tropical splendor, resort-style, bright island colors, sea life, the beach, the ocean, the sun, and the sky.

In her childhood and throughout her younger adult years, Janet was blessed to be able to travel, not only throughout the United States but around the world. She started her career as a travel agent and was fortunate to have the opportunity to explore many beautiful, scenic places, lively cities, and small towns, as well as some areas that were in need of help. In many of these areas, the local women made handcrafted items from whatever they had available, such as coconuts, straw, palm leaves, clay, nuts, shells, weaving threads, and natural stones. Janet enjoyed purchasing items from them and supporting their hard work, as they tried to make a living for themselves and their families.

Eventually, her love of shopping for unique products inspired her to change her career from travel agency owner to retail store owner. Over her 30-year retail career, Janet has created and founded many specialty stores, all with fun themes. One of her favorites was her little girls’ boutique, A Pink Princess, where almost everything was pink. Another favorite was her women's jewelry and accessory store, Glitzy Girl, where everything was fancy and sparkly. With years of experience and knowledge of searching for exciting, new products to make available to others, she was able to create a special boutique store for women who enjoy the coastal resort lifestyle—a store that offers a selection of personal items for women to buy for themselves, as well as products to accent their homes’ tropical style.

Janet’s Thoughts: Having been born in a cold, northern state, and then living a good part of my life there, I really appreciate the tropical lifestyle I’m blessed to enjoy in Florida with my husband, Deziel.
