This Dionne Quintuplets Madame Alexander is a Special Edition made in 1988, for the companies 75th Anniversary, designed to match the original set, They have hair plastic bodies, vinyl heads, painted hair and facial features. They are dressed in pastel cotton dresses with matching panties and bonnets, trimmed in lace and bows, they have ribbon tie front white shoes, each has a gold heart necklace with their name engraved on it.
Information about the Dionne Quintuplets: The Dionne quintuplets were born May 28, 1934, as identical girls born, just outside Callander, Ontario, near the village of Corbeil. The Dionne girls were born two months premature, and they were the first quintuplets known to have survived their infancy and all five survived to adulthood.
